As I am working on my Windows 10 computer, my display will randomly turn off without me doing anything. It is plugged in directly to the CPU so it is getting enough power to maintain the display.
The blue light indicates that is on, but no display, please help.

Sounds like your USB port shut off if you are using USB on a 1080, then there is no data...just power So go to device manager--->universal serial bus controllers-->find monitor (in this case it is USB ROOT HUB xHCl)--> Power Management and deselect this box. See picture for assistance. This should resolve your issue. or you can use a USB adapter, and plug it into AC Attachments:
