Hi.
Please note the following important information:
The MSE-23016 displays can be used in a video wall configuration BUT that will not work right out of the box.
They require configuration to assign each display to a given array of 1920 x 165 pixels (i.e. display #1 = 1-165 pixels, display #2 = 166 - 330 pixels, etc).
Each display requires its own firmware
* If your customer's CMS can implement a video wall via their own software tools then they won't need to go through this process.
Below are links to the files needed. You don't have to have 6 displays, for example, if you configure 2 displays then you'll see 1/3 of the content.
Each .zip file contains 3 folders ("RATIO_1_20190215", "RATIO_2_20190215", etc.).
Each folder contains a .bin file needed for a screen to capture 165 pixels.
Load RATIO_1_20190215 into display #1, RATIO_2_20190215 into display #2, etc.
The .bin files are all named "MERGE.bin" - do not change the filename.
Instructions to load firmware onto displays:
You will need:
an OTG adapter (USB type A to USB micro type B)
a USB flash drive
Unzip the two .zip folders (links below)
Load the file for display # 1 (RATIO_1_20190215 > MERGE.bin) into the root directory of a USB flash drive
Do not load more than one file onto the flash drive
Power off the display
Plug the USB drive into the OTG adapter and the OTG adapter into the display
Power on the display (do not interrupt power while loading firmware) and wait until you see the "NO SIGNAL" message which indicates that the firmware loaded successfully
Repeat for each display
END
