I would like to pair up a Mimo UM-760CF with a miniature PC running Windows 10. Will the UM-760CF be compatible ? Also, this miniature PC will not have sufficient power to drive the UM-760CF. Can I supply power to the UM-760CF externally?
FYI, I am looking to get an Ockel Sirius B (pocket) PC. One of their tech guys said that there is probably not enough juice generated by the Sirius B to run one of your monitors (I asked specifically about the Mimo monitor), although he says that, to his knowledge, no one has actually tried this. The Sirius B is only a 5V system.
If I can get this to work, I'd have a really cool, bite-sized computer system.

I haven't heard of that mini pc solution but since it is running Windows 10, I am very confident it will be compatible. Our 7" USB monitors are 600mA so I believe this will work, but if not, a powered usb hub would certainly resolve the issue of USB power. This type of solution is what is needed when powering USB monitors with small pc solutions like the Raspberry Pi when the ports to not supply adequate enough power.
I am interested in seeing if this works for your application, so if you could keep Mimo updated we would appreciate the feedback!
